Can Someone Please Explain This To Me?

Because I'm not entirely sure how this got off the rails or where the miscommunication is. I tried to buy a laptop bag from a seller on Etsy. I paid for said bag and this is when the communication started...and somewhere it went ary.

AHEM...
her--->Thank you for your order. Do you have a Dell Studio 17.6 laptop. If not then please send me a link to your laptop model that includes product specifications so that I can assist you in determining which of our generic sizes will best fit your laptop.

Colors appear different on different computer screens. The 'Pods' fabric is described in the listing as:
"Heavy upholstery linen in black and sand." (not gray, it's a very neutral light sand/beige color. just thought I should give you the heads up).

me--->OK, hold the phone! The Lady Yang (?) fabric is GORGEOUS!! Can I change to that by any chance?
My computer is an HP pavilion laptop dv-7.

her--->Hiya,

Yes you can change to Lady Yang. I'm away for the day and will send further instructions re the switch tonight or tomorrow am.

her--->Hi ther,
To make sure that we make and send the Lady Yang bag please purchase it at link below but don't make payment. I will apply your original payment to it and then cancel your original order. Please include your size choice in the 'message to seller' field when you checkout. Send me a quick convo afterward confirming that you've placed the order and then I'll post the payment to the new order.

me--->I don't understand these instructions, as there is no link...

her--->So sorry! (enter link)

her--->So sorry again! Lady Yang is hot all of a sudden and I'm getting orders confused. This is the link you need:(enter 2nd link)

her--->Hi again,

Please purchase the Lady Yang bag at the following link: (insert link)

We do cutting for the week on Monday based on the orders received the previous week through Sunday. If we don't receive your Lady Yang order by tonight then it will be delayed by a week. Also we still have the old order as active. We make many bags each week and in situations like this it's really easy to make a mistake.

If you prefer to cancel the order altogether that's ok just let me know and I will send quick refund through Paypal.

me--->Sorry, I just got around to doing this, I hope I did it correctly. I was so wrapped up in photo edits last night it kept slipping my mind.

her--->Order received. Thank you! Please indicate by number (1-9) which size you need. Instructions below.

If you aren’t sure what size you need, send me a link to your laptop with product details/specifications and I will advise you.

NOTE 2: Expect approx. two weeks before shipment. This item is made to order and the SALE IS FINAL. If you have a question about size or any other question, please contact me before placing your order. If you order the wrong size or the wrong fabric you can't return it, so be sure to ORDER CAREFULLY!

me--->You don't have a larger dimension than the #1? Our original conversation, you asked that I send you the model # of my computer. My computer is 17.6" and I was hoping to get like 18" to make sure it fit

her--->Hi again,

I checked your previous convos and see that you indicated that you have an HP pavilion dv-7. According to the specfications at the following link:

http://reviews.cnet.com/laptops/hp-pavilion-dv7-2185dx/4505-3121_7-33695858.html

your laptop has a 17.3" screen and measures 16.2 x 10.9 x 1.7 inches. Therefore you need size 2.) listed in our instructions. Please conmfirm that this is correct. If this is not correct then I will need you to send me a link to the product specifications for your laptop model.

me--->http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002ONCDRO/ref=asc_df_B002ONCDRO1225857?smid=A1U9HDFCZO1A84&tag=dealtmp286418-20&linkCode=asn&creative=395105&creativeASIN=B002ONCDRO
I think this is it, but the box I had said 17.6" so I'm not sure

her--->Are the measurements of your laptop 16.2 x 10.9 x 1.7? If you can confirm the dimensions then screen size, whether 17.6 or 17.3 doesn't matter.

her--->According to the specs per the link you just sent, the measuremnts are the same
16.2" x 10.9" x 1.37"/1.70"

me--->You are totally right, I have no clue what those measurements mean! LOL Why would it say 17.6 but only be 16.5...so mind boggling

her--->So sorry, but we can't make your bag unless you confirm size by indicating a number 1-9 as per the instructions. If you prefer to cancel that's ok, just let me know.

me--->Um, what? Do you not want to sell me a bag? I just said you were correct, #2...

me--->Why did you give me a refund? I never said I wanted a refund, in fact I was highly confused by the last communication that we had.

So that is the conversation, the names have been excluded to save the innocent, but honestly who what where and why? And still no response to my last question. I thought I was being jokey and I DID admit I was wrong so what the hell?
