So I made the appointment with the friendly folks at NSALA.

They really were great with answering my hundreds of questions.
Jeez, you'd think I was a new mom or something! Not a new owner to a 5 year old cocker!

Luckily enough I could get an appointment within 2 weeks! WooHoo!
